Moderately priced molded ABS & Aluminum lightweight 2 space equipment rack, generic, not a name brand but produced just like higher priced racks.  The case shell without lids is 12 inches deep, great for smaller devices like wireless units, mini bass amps, tuners, processors, guitar preamps.  Front and Rear Rails with replaceable steel threaded strips for mounting your rack equipment; screws and washers included for your convenience.  Butterfly steel twist latches.  Side mounted folding carry handle. Zippered Screen Pocket in 1 lid.  Stack-able with similar racks.

What's a "U"? It stands for Unit or Rack Unit which is standardized at 1.75 inches tall.
