Moderately priced molded ABS & Aluminum lightweight 4 space equipment rack, generic, not a name brand but produced just like higher priced racks.  The case shell without lids is 8 inches deep, great for smaller devices like wireless units, mini bass amps, tuners, processors, guitar preamps.  Front and Rear Rails with replaceable steel threaded strips for mounting your rack equipment; screws and washers included for your convenience.  Butterfly steel twist latches.  Side mounted folding carry handle. Stack-able with similar racks.

What's a "U"? It stands for Unit or Rack Unit which is standardized at 1.75 inches tall.
